sudo apt-get -f install
deve instalar todas as dependências não atendidas.
Eu tentei recentemente baixar o Steam do Ubuntu Software Center, mas quando tento iniciar o programa, recebi a mensagem de erro abaixo. Também meus resultados ao tentar instalar são isso quando ele volta O Steam precisa instalar estes pacotes adicionais:

sudo apt-get -f install

Eu tive os mesmos problemas de erro. Aqui está o que funcionou para mim (finalmente):
sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-dri-lts-trusty:i386
(isto irá baixar cerca de 57 arquivos) Então ...
sudo apt-get install libgl1-mesa-glx-lts-trusty:i386
(isto irá baixar cerca de 23 arquivos)
Agora, quando você executar o Steam, ele fará o download de uma atualização e você deverá estar off e running. Boa sorte!
