Eu tenho um triângulo vermelho no painel superior que diz The update information is outdated. This may be caused by network problems or by a repository that is no longer available. Please update manually by selecting show updates from the indicator menu and watching for any failing repositories.

Meu Ubuntu está atualizado. Leva tempo para aparecer depois de ligar o laptop e ele sempre retorna mesmo que o Ubuntu esteja atualizado.

As notas de sinalização vermelhas atualizam os problemas. O segundo log mostra os problemas ao obter atualizações do repositório ("Alguns arquivos de índice falharam no download" e especialmente "Não foi possível resolver").

Possíveis causas e soluções

(do mais para o menos provável.)

  • Problemas de pesquisa de nome

    • Falha do servidor DNS atual

      Solução: Use outro servidor (por exemplo, os servidores DNS do Google: IPs 8.8.4.4 e 8.8.8.8)

    • Arquivo de hosts modificado

      Solução: Verifique o arquivo /etc/hosts para as linhas que contêm "google", "dropbox", "ubuntu". Se eles estiverem - limpe essas linhas (ou substitua o arquivo pela versão limpa inicial)

  • Conexão com a Internet quebrada

    • Provedor de Internet

      Solução: tente usar outro ISP

    • Adaptador de rede executando instável

      Solução: Tente usar outro adaptador (alterne para a rede sem fio com fio ou vice-versa; conecte outro adaptador, por exemplo, USB one)

    • Infecção por malware

      Solução: execute uma verificação de malware, de preferência off-line.

Na maioria dos casos, são problemas no servidor DNS.
