Após a atualização do Ubuntu 12.04 para 14.04 não é possível instalar qualquer novo pacote [duplicado]

Eu atualizei do Ubuntu 12.04 para o 14.04 LTS, mas depois de atualizar os erros aparecem após a instalação de qualquer software. Eu tentei instalar o icedtea-netx . Geralmente após erro vem

Esta listagem contém updmap.cfg?

1. ls /etc/texmf/web2c/

Em caso afirmativo, a:

2. nano -w /etc/texmf/web2c/updmap.cfg
3. Comente a linha a seguir adicionando um # , assim: #Map ua1.map Agora, corrija o erro:
4. sudo updmap-sys

Você verificou sua lista de fontes de software? Goto terminal e escreva gedit /etc/apt/sources.list e verifique se a sua fonte de software é algo próximo disso
