Não é possível alternar o touchpad com xinput após a atualização do Ubuntu

Eu encontrei um mau funcionamento estranho do meu touchpad e xinput. Depois de uma das atualizações mais recentes (período de 07/11/14 a 14/07/14), meu touchpad deixou de ser alternável quando manipulado com xinput.

Sistema: Ubuntu 14.04, Kernel 3.13.0-33 Lenovo Yoga 13 TouchpadDevice: SynPS / 2 Synaptics TouchPad

Uma verificação com xinput --test 12 não está relatando nenhum evento.

Então ... longa história curta: O dispositivo tem os mesmos valores de antes ... MAS não está mais funcionando.

Também verifiquei synclient -l , mas o único valor importante "TouchpadOff" está definido em "0" Eu também desabilitei a opção "desabilitar enquanto digito" no gnome-control-center para evitar qualquer interferência. E eu verifiquei o enable-disable toggling com synclient touchpadoff=0 e synclient touchpadoff=1 , que funciona sem falhas. E finalmente tentei alternar o touchpad com o pequeno botão em "Mouse / Touchpad" no "gnome-control-center" que, ao criar os mesmos eventos que eu, resulta nos mesmos eventos e resultados xiput.

A pergunta é: Existe algum outro valor de qualquer outro aplicativo que seja usado / responsável pela ativação / desativação e ... se houver ... como posso rastreá-lo?

Ah .. ah .. FYI: Touchpad retoma seu trabalho após o relogging.

Eu compro um teclado Logitech Keyboard Touchpad K400r ( link ). Trabalhando, mas sempre uso um comando no terminal com meu touchpad laptop Dell Inspiron 1750:

synclient LockedDrags=1

mas não está funcionando na logitech.
