Interface de áudio USB Tascam US-122L + jackd

Estou tentando obter uma interface USB 2.0 Audio / MIDI Tascam US-122L trabalhando com o jackd.

Os módulos corretos do kernel parecem carregar quando eu conecto o dispositivo em:

O cartão também aparece em qjackctl , mas quando eu o seleciono como interface e tento iniciar o jackd, recebo o seguinte erro:

Tentou modificar /etc/security/limits.conf e ~/.asoundrc de acordo com o responder a esta pergunta , mas não resolveu o problema. Atualmente eles se parecem com isso:

O mesmo acontece com o Xubuntu 14.04 e o Ubuntu Studio 12.04.

Todas as sugestões são muito apreciadas. Este cartão deve ser suportado, tanto quanto eu sei.

  • Se o Pulseaudio estiver em execução, você pode ter esse problema.
    Para pará-lo para teste, execute 2 comandos:
    echo autospawn=no > ~/.pulse/client.conf e pulseaudio -k
