- Se o Pulseaudio estiver em execução, você pode ter esse problema.
Para pará-lo para teste, execute 2 comandos:

Estou tentando obter uma interface USB 2.0 Audio / MIDI Tascam US-122L trabalhando com o jackd.
Os módulos corretos do kernel parecem carregar quando eu conecto o dispositivo em:

Tentou modificar /etc/security/limits.conf
e ~/.asoundrc
de acordo com o responder a esta pergunta , mas não resolveu o problema. Atualmente eles se parecem com isso:
