Estou tentando usar um dongle wifi airlink com o chip RTL8188CUs.

Não está indo muito bem. Encontrei um link para um instalador de driver
Download rtl8192cu-tjp-dkms_1.6_all.deb 1.0 MB

Quando executo este instalador, recebo o erro:

Consult /var/lib/dkms/rtl8192cu-tjp/1.6/build/make.log for more information.

O log do make é este:

Tente instalar o pacote essencial da compilação e tente novamente. Você está perdendo o compilador.

sudo apt-get install build-essential
