Como posso me conectar ao wlan com meu BCM4313 (14e4: 4727)?

Estou procurando ajuda para fazer com que minha placa Broadcom Wlan funcione no meu laptop com o Ubuntu. Até agora não consegui que funcionasse. Soluções que eu tentei por agora:   1. usando o driver adicional que pode ser instalado através do menu do driver adicional do Ubuntu   2. usando o ndiswrapper com o driver apropriado do Windows XP para o BCM4313

Ambas as soluções parecem ter os mesmos problemas. Você pode procurar por wlans disponíveis (verificação do iwlist). Também wlan frontends do ubtuntu e kubuntu podem encontrar wlans. Mas conectar-se a eles não é bem-sucedido. Finalmente eu fiz meus testes usando o frontend wicd-client.

Pergunta: Como posso corrigir o problema para poder conectar-me à rede? Como posso ver o que está errado?

No meu caso, em um netbook que usa este chipset, a etapa adicional de configurar o REGDOMAIN em / etc / default / crda para o código do meu país permite que o netbook se conecte aos pontos de acesso Wi-Fi usando o brcmsmac, mesmo quando não estiver sendo usado.
