Estou executando o Kubuntu 13.10 e tudo tem sido bom por muito tempo. Eu acho que alguma atualização recente borked minha configuração X e não tenho idéia de como corrigi-lo.
Eu tenho um laptop Dell com um monitor Dell em uma porta de exibição conectada a ele. Tudo foi ótimo (com os drivers mais recentes da Nvidia) até que eu reiniciei no fim de semana e as duas telas ficaram pretas.
Desconecte o DisplayPort, o monitor do laptop entra em ação.
Conecte-se via HDMI, ambos funcionam (tudo com o grande monitor externo a uma resolução inferior à ótima).
Os registros mostram que o monitor está sendo reconhecido na porta de exibição, e ps -A em um terminal de texto enquanto o terminal gráfico está preto mostra plasma-desktop e todos os aplicativos funcionando alegremente, eu não consigo vê-los. / p>
Eu estou no Xorg / edgies ppa, mas uma reversão para o estoque da Nvidia e X-org não mudou os sintomas.

Alguma ideia de como começar a resolver isso? Eu não tenho idéia de onde ir a partir daqui.

Agora consegui fazer com que o monitor funcionasse novamente e o dp, mas SOMENTE se eu tivesse o cabo dvi conectado e o monitor subsequente desativado no nvidi-config.
Assim que eu desconectar o dvi, ele volta para a tela em branco.
