Sony Vaio (SVE15129CAB) construído em leitor de cartão SD (RTS5116) Realtek não trabalhando Ubuntu 12.04

O Card Reader estava funcionando bem quando eu usava USB ao vivo, mas depois da instalação e do upgrade ele nem detecta . Inicialmente recebi mmc0 error 110 (syslog) . Depois disso eu tentei instalar o driver do site realtek, ainda sem rendimento.

Não sei se isso ajudará ou não, mas eu tive um problema parecido. Cartão SD reconhecido se inicializado com ele, mas não se colocado depois da inicialização. Resolvido por verificar as configurações do BIOS para o leitor de cartão SD e encontrou-o definido para "disquete" - mudou para Auto e parece funcionar agora ....
