Também instalei a ferramenta Unity tweak através do centro de software e agora não consigo encontrá-la, nem mesmo em aplicativos de pesquisa. Eu sinto que toda vez que eu tento instalar algo eu tenho que pular através de aros flamejantes ...
Você realmente não deveria ter tentado instalar esse pacote. Ele é fornecido para os caras que excluíram o Unity primeiro. Basta instalar o Compiz Config Settings Manager do Software Center e você terá todas as habilidades do Compiz, exceto o Gerenciador de Janelas, porque o Unity o substitui. Se você quer mais, você tem que se livrar da Unity e ir em busca do Gnome puro, para o qual existem guias completos, e eu sugeriria outra distro também.
