Por que não estou recebendo atualizações "principais"?

Eu recentemente atualizei do Ubuntu 12.10 para o 13.04 e desde então tenho a strong impressão de que não estou recebendo nenhuma atualização para os pacotes principais.

Na verdade, desde a atualização para o Ubuntu 13.04, há 15 dias atrás, corro sudo apt-get update regularmente e vejo quais pacotes são atualizados. Com base na minha experiência com o Ubuntu, posso dizer que estou recebendo apenas atualizações para PPAs (como Novacut) e repositórios de parceiros (como o Skype). Eu não estou recebendo atualizações para outros pacotes.

Não recebo nenhuma mensagem de erro ao executar sudo apt-get update . Ainda consigo instalar o que quiser com o Centro de Software ou a linha de comando. Aqui está o conteúdo de /etc/apt/sources.list :

Como posso verificar se a minha impressão está correta? Como corrijo o problema?

Eu tentei excluir o arquivo /etc/apt/sources.list e, em seguida, preenchei-o automaticamente executando uma atualização, mas nada mudou.

Troquei a fonte de software da universidade local (Erlangen, veja o arquivo sources.list) para a principal alemã. Agora, o Atualizador de Software baixou atualizações, incluindo as atualizações do kernel que o rtmie está falando.

Sua sources.list é semelhante à minha (que é uma nova instalação de raring).

De um terminal você pode fazer:

sudo apt-get update | grep principal

Se o apt estiver checando por atualizações no repositório principal, você deverá ver linhas como: "Hit link raring / main Translation-pt" (Translation-pt-pt é um exemplo, deve haver outras linhas como bem)

Se você fizer suas atualizações a partir da linha de comando (sudo apt-get dist-upgrade), você estará de onde elas estão sendo extraídas.

Por exemplo, esta manhã (4 de maio) houve atualizações do kernel do main)
