Eu tenho usado o 12.04 em um Lenovo Thinkpad Edge de inicialização dupla. Recentemente, o Wi-Fi parou de funcionar na minha rede doméstica, mas ainda funcionava em uma rede aberta. Outros computadores da casa, e meu ThinkPad, inicializados pela partição do Windows funcionavam bem.
O exame do syslog mostrou que o computador conseguiu se conectar, mas foi desconectado durante a negociação do DHCP.
A conexão com fio funciona, então eu entrei no roteador e desabilitei a segurança. Então o Wi-Fi funcionou bem. No entanto, deixar a rede aberta não é uma opção.
Examinar /var/log/apt/history.log mostra que recentemente isc-dhcp-common
foi atualizado. Eu suspeito que o problema começou lá.
O resultado é que, com a criptografia ativada no roteador, não consigo me conectar.
Alguém pode sugerir o que posso fazer aqui?

Eu ainda não descobri como fazer isso direito. Enquanto isso, posso usar o wifii com WEP, desde que eu use um IP fixo. Eu simplesmente verifiquei quais números estão disponíveis no roteador, e escolho um que é improvável de ser escolhido. Defina o dns / mask / gateway e estou tudo pronto. Conecte-se sem problemas. Não é uma solução satisfatória, mas uma solução alternativa.
