Eu perdi todos os meus arquivos do windows?

Question

Eu decidi mudar do windows 7 para o Ubuntu 12.10. Eu tinha o windows 7 na partição C: e outros arquivos (fotos, músicas, etc.) na partição D :. Durante a instalação, escolhi a partição C: para Linux e a caixa de seleção para criptografar a unidade. Agora no Ubuntu não consigo montar d: partition. Parece que a partição não existe. O que fazer? Perdi todos os meus arquivos do windows?

Como as partições não existem mais, você não pode acessar seus arquivos por meios regulares.

Mas arquivos que não foram sobrescritos podem ser recuperados com a ferramenta de linha de comando Testdisk: link
