Não é possível instalar o cedarview-drm

Estou tentando instalar o driver Intel Xorg para GPUs GMA3600 (Cedarview) para o meu Acer Aspire One D270 com Windows 7 Starter, Windows 8 e Ubuntu 12.04

Eu segui estas instruções na íntegra , mas recebo os seguintes erros na etapa 3 quando tento instalar os drivers Cedarview:

The following packages have unmet dependencies:
cedarview-drm:i386 : Depends: grub-gfxpayload-lists:i386 but it is not going to be installed
Depends: linux-headers-generic:i386 (>= 2.6) but it is not going to be installed or linux-headers-generic-pae:i386 (>= 2.6) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: dkms:i386 (>= 2.1.0.0) but it is not installable

cedarview-graphics-drivers:i386 : Depends: xserver-xorg-core:i386 (>= 2:1.10.99.901) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: xorg-video-abi-11:i386

Eu tentei instalar com sucesso um dos pacotes sozinho:    sudo apt-get instalar libva-cedarview-vaapi-driver

Mas quando tentei instalar: cedarview-drm sozinho, recebi o seguinte erro:

Se alguém puder lançar alguma luz sobre isso, eu ficaria muito grato. Eu estou tão perdida ... e gostaria de fazer isso funcionar, já que não estou gostando do Windows 8 ou 7.

Você tem uma instalação de 64 bits do Ubuntu (verifique com uname -m ) e o driver CedarView nos repositórios é de apenas 32 bits.
