Não é possível instalar o LibreOffice [duplicado]

A solução é forçar a versão do pacote libexttextcat-data para 3.2.0-1ubuntu1 (não para 3.3.1-2 ~ precision1 por padrão). Quando eu tentei atualizar na versão 3.3.1-2 ~ precise1 todo libreoffice está marcado para remover.

Vá para o gerenciador de pacotes sinápticos (baixe-o se você ainda não o tiver). Experimente e veja se você tem algum pacote instalado mencionado em sua postagem (use filtro) e então vá para o menu selecione Editar > Corrigir pacotes quebrados.

Como alternativa, se você instalou o Ubuntu recentemente usando o Wubi, notei no outro dia que o Quantal Quetzal beta ou alpha está sendo usado no momento. Isso não é estável e eu tinha muitos "pacotes quebrados". Se for esse o caso, não tenho as habilidades para ajudá-lo ainda mais. Você provavelmente precisará de uma organização alternativa, por exemplo: - dual boot (ressalva: faça sua lição de casa extensivamente antes de tentar isso); - instalar o Ubuntu no VirtualBox ou VMware.
