Eu tenho um disco rígido USB de 500 gb NTFS particionado que funcionou até ontem, mas hoje não funciona. Ele não aparece na minha máquina Ubuntu, agora no Windows XP ou Windows 7, eu tentei vários cabos e portas USB, mas os resultados são os mesmos. Quando eu ligar a luz acende eo disco gira, então eu sei que "funciona", mas não aparece no gparted, fdisk ou lsusb. Este é o resultado de dmesg | grep -i usb :

Existe um backup muito importante neste disco rígido e é crucial para mim recuperá-lo, não importa o quê. Obrigado pela sua ajuda.
você deixou cair o disco ou, de alguma outra forma, causou um grande impacto, se a lente fosse danificada, você ouviria o disco girando, mas não poderia lê-lo e, portanto, não aparece no gparted.
