O Microsoft Lifecam VX-2000 não funciona mais em Cheese

Eu tenho dois Lifecam VX-2000 e eles não funcionam mais em queijo. Não sei se é um problema com um pacote ausente ou com um pacote que instalei. Aqui está a saída.

Observe o seguinte:     Motivo: a mídia não contém fluxos de vídeo compatíveis.

Quando tento gravar um vídeo, ele cria um arquivo WEBM de 13,2 KB sem nada. Quando tiro uma foto, funciona. Edit: Eu estive pensando que o problema começou depois de instalar o repositório MediUbuntu no meu sistema.
