Com o Ubuntu 13.04, não consigo instalar nenhuma parte da pilha LAMP devido a pacotes quebrados.
Eu tentei
sudo apt-get -f install php5
sudo apt-get --purge remove php5
sudo apt-get autoremove
bem como tentar instalar todas as dependências listadas em todas as permutações do pedido
sudo apt-get --fix-broken --ignore-hold install php5
