Antes de mais nada, lembre-se de que sou usuário do Linux por uma ou duas horas. Este é meu primeiro dia de migração do Windows. Tão Olá! :)
Então, aqui está o meu problema. Eu tenho duas placas gráficas na minha máquina desktop e só posso conectar um único monitor em cada uma delas. Eu li inúmeros posts e tópicos procurando por uma solução mas não tive sorte em fazer com que ambos os meus monitores funcionassem corretamente. Por favor, ajude-me a amar o Ubuntu ainda mais do que agora! Agora, algumas informações:
Ambos os monitores estavam funcionando bem antes de instalar os drivers nvidia. Depois disso, quando tento inicializar o Ubuntu, vejo a tela inicial de inicialização em um monitorA, mas quando termino de inicializar, vejo a tela de login no monitorB e a animação de inicialização ainda está presa no monitorA e permanece assim. Eu estou no Ubuntu 13.04 e quando eu vou para Configurações do Sistema- > Exibe eu vejo apenas um monitor, clicando em Detectar não ajuda em nada.

Terei todo o prazer em lhe fornecer mais informações sobre o meu sistema, mas devo pedir-lhe que por favor, seja o mais específico possível, sou realmente novo em tudo isto:)
EDIT: Eu também tentei gerar um xorg.conf (conteúdo abaixo) mas o sistema simplesmente não inicializou na primeira vez, mas em todas as outras vezes ele foi reinicializado normalmente na tela de login (ainda apenas um tela embora), mas eu não podia entrar (ele continuava voltando para a tela de login) até que eu removi o arquivo xorg.conf e reiniciei lightdm .
