modem 3G no Ubuntu 14.04

Ambos os modems 3G ( Uknown nesta tabela) não funcionam no Ubuntu 14.04. Eu tentei empurrar o cartão SIM para slot 3G no notebook Dell D630 e também com cartão de modem 3G externo. Efeito Seme: rede de banda larga que eu posso criar, mas esta rede não está disponível após a criação. Reiniciar o serviço network-manager não funciona também.

/etc/wvdial.conf está vazio.

Aqui está um programa para gerenciar 3g conexões baixá-lo e salvá-lo em sua pasta pessoal, não o renomeie.

sudo apt-get install qt-sdk

depois de ter feito isso, anote o valor do produto do ID e do fornecedor do ID.

Insira seu próprio idproduct e o número do identificador nos campos de fornecedores e produtos que você anotou anteriormente

então

'grep tty /var/log/messages' 

e verifique se a saída diz que o modem está conectado a ttyUSB1 0r ttyUSB0

agora inicie o driver vodafone para linux
