Como descobrir se o meu leitor de DVD é também um gravador?

Estou usando o Ubuntu em um Dell Inspiron 14R. Não existem gravações como DVD-RX ou DVD-rom no meu leitor de DVD. Existe alguma coisa no Ubuntu semelhante ao gerenciador de dispositivos no Windows, para que eu possa saber se tenho um gravador de DVD ou não?

Aqui está uma alternativa.

1. Abra uma nova janela do Terminal com Ctrl + Alt + T e digite o seguinte: sudo apt-get install libcdio-utils
2. Agora há uma ferramenta chamada cd-drive no utilitário que você acabou de instalar. Então, no seu Terminal, execute sudo cd-drive e aperte enter.

A saída deve ficar assim:
