Eu tentei a solução em este tópico .
Mesmo depois de executar o comando
echo "options rtl8723be ant_sel=2" | sudo tee -a /etc/modprobe.d/rtl8723be.conf
Não persiste após o reinício.
Após a reinicialização eu tenho que fazer todo o processo novamente no segmento mencionado acima. Qualquer solução melhor para as alterações persistirem mesmo após o reinício.
