Acabei de comprar um laptop ASUS . O touchpad funciona bem no Windows, depois eu instalei o Ubuntu 18.04. O touchpad, no entanto, não funciona.

Como você pode ver meu touchpad não é detectado, nem é detectado como algum "mouse genérico". Estou surpreso que a tecla fn funcione.
Claro que experimentei o combo "fn + f10" para ativar o touchpad, sem sorte.
Depois de algumas tentativas de pesquisa e correção, meu grub fica assim.
