Existe a possibilidade de este erro ter sido introduzido ao tentar adicionar repos para o bodhi. O arquivo sources.list :

Parece que você instalou uma versão de terceiros do pacote apt , mas manteve o pacote libapt-pkg5.0 acompanhante e aparentemente incompatível, como era nos repositórios da Canonical.

Normalmente você pode forçar pacotes para sua versão mais recente disponível para o lançamento atual do Ubuntu com:

sudo apt install {PACKAGE_NAME,...}/$(lsb_release -sc)

No entanto, neste caso o próprio Apt é afetado e quebrado, então você precisa:

  1. Faça o download dos pacotes manualmente a partir do repositório de pacotes ( apt , libapt-pkg5.0 ).

    1. Certifique-se de que a página do pacote é para o seu lançamento do Ubuntu (procure perto do topo),
    2. Vá até a seção de download na parte inferior da página de cada pacote,
    3. clique no link da sua arquitetura,
    4. selecione um espelho de download adequado e
    5. armazene os arquivos do pacote em um local que você possa lembrar para a próxima etapa, e. g. /tmp .
  2. Instale os pacotes Deb carregados com dpkg :

    cd /tmp
    sudo dpkg -i {apt,libapt-pkg5.0}_*.deb
    
  3. Atualize seus pacotes para verificar se o Apt funciona e verifique se você tem a versão mais recente:

    sudo apt update
    sudo apt upgrade
