Instalei recentemente uma nova instância do Ubuntu 18.04 LTS com o XFCE como o DE. Por alguma razão, ele fica travando em momentos aleatórios. Eu posso ser eu abrindo uma pasta através do gerenciador de arquivos ou simplesmente apagando um arquivo.

Não sei o que causa isso. O resultado é sempre o mesmo. Eu sou desconectado e preciso fazer login novamente. O que me surpreende é que deve haver algum travamento no momento da inicialização já que eu tenho que fazer o login duas vezes em 9/10 casos, porque geralmente se eu fizer o login o driver cai imediatamente e me traz de volta para a tela de login
Side note: I'm using a dual boot system with windows on another drive and having a newer nvidia geforce 1XXX card
