Problema ao executar ou desinstalar o vuze no Ubuntu 17.10

Question

Quando eu executo o Vuze no terminal, o Vuze roda com a mensagem e depois trava

Another copy of Vuze appears to be running: failed to lock file

\.azureus\.azlock

Vuze will now close

e no terminal todos os tipos de avisos como: (Vuze: 3427): Gtk-WARNING

**: Allocating size to GtkButton 0x7f7eb86e5dc0 without calling gtk_widget_get_preferred_width/height(). How does the code know the size to allocate?

Exit from Azureus complete

Azureus TERMINATED.

Eu tentei desinstalá-lo, mas o comando

sudo apt-get purge vuze

diz

Package 'vuze' is not installed, so not removed

0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 9 not upgraded.

Eu deletei os diretórios /home/my_username/.vuze e /.azerus , mas isso não ajudou.

Eu encontrei este como e instalei o Vuze 5.7 .5 e agora funciona

que parece ser uma boa maneira de instalar algo assim. Eu sempre tive problemas com vuze , mas o pacote instantâneo parece bem.
