Após atualizar o Ubuntu para 18.04 (a partir de 17.10), o Xorg não pode ser iniciado. Apenas alterna repetidamente entre telas em branco preto e cinza. Eu reconfigurei o grub para inicializar no modo de texto com o nomodeset. O comando startx não pôde iniciar o servidor Xorg. Eu tenho uma placa gráfica integrada da Intel.
