Problema ao instalar o Landscape em 18.04 LTS

Eu pesquisei mas não encontrei uma solução para o problema de instalações do Google Landscape.

Quando eu executo: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:landscape/17.03 Eu recebo:

NOTICE: This post was written back in late April of 2018. The information in this answer may no longer be up to date; you will have to refer to the Landscape Dedicated Server documentation page on the Landscape/Canonical Help Documentation to determine if your target version of Ubuntu is supported for Landscape Dedicated Server.

At the time this answer was written, 18.04 was not yet supported for LDS. Even though this has changed, this answer is being left alone for historical purposes. (for now)

O software Landscape Server ainda não está disponível para 18.04; no entanto, o cliente que interage com o Landscape Server está disponível em 18.04.

Os componentes do Landscape Server são os últimos 'garantidos' para trabalhar com o 16.04, e de fato esse é o SO mais recente suportado pelo Landscape Server.

Do link (acessado em 30 de abril de 2018), recebemos essa linda " suporte "tabela detalhando os sistemas operacionais suportados:

E como você pode ver, eles suportam apenas 16.04 atualmente. (O Landscape não se adapta imediatamente ao 'mais recente e melhor' logo após o lançamento, eles nunca têm e nem fazem isso nas instâncias da Canonical Landscape Cloud.)

Atualmente, não há documentação pública detalhando um cronograma de suporte para o Landscape. Provavelmente haverá suporte em algum momento, mas não é informação tornada pública.

Há algum tempo, há suporte a LDS para 18.04 (consulte link ).

Em essência, para correr na premissa:

sudo add-apt-repository -u ppa:landscape/18.03
sudo apt-get install landscape-server-quickstart
