Estou usando o Redmi Note 5 pro com Android Nougat e Ubuntu 16.04 no meu PC. Não consigo acessar a Internet por meio de tethering via USB com meu telefone. Quando aberto em qualquer site através de qualquer navegador da web, ele mostra Connection Times out ou Secute cnnection Failed.
O terminal ifconfig on fornece isso:

Eu tentei ifconfig usb0 up && dhclient usb0 , mas dá erro como
SIOCSIFFLAGS: Operation not permitted
A conexão com o hotspot Wi-Fi funciona, o tethering USB de outros telefones também funciona, mas não funciona com o meu telefone.
ifconfig com outro telefone Android com o qual o tethering USB funcionou bem deu:
