Eu recentemente tentei instalar o gimp a partir da fonte oficial com o comando "sudo apt-get install gimp", e consertei todas as dependências com "sudo apt-get -f install". Mas sempre que eu tento iniciar o gimp (via "gimp" no terminal) ele imediatamente fecha e essas mensagens de erro são exibidas:

Eu sei que pode parecer um pouco estranho, mas você está usando um tema GTK de terceiros? Em caso afirmativo, tente alterar o tema para um tema padrão (como o Ambiance) e veja se isso o corrige.
