Eu fiz uma instalação do Ubuntu recentemente no meu PC de mesa recém-construído, fiquei preso imaginando isso por talvez 2 dias agora, eu sou um novato do Ubuntu, mas tentei um monte de coisas, nada funcionou!
Quando reiniciei o computador após a instalação, ele exibiu essa mensagem de erro:
"Error: attempt to read or write outside of disk 'hd0'.

Eu também tentei carregar "Try ubuntu" da instalação ISO do ubuntu inicializável do flash drive ao vivo, e instalei o pacote boot-repair e executei todo o processo. este é o link gerado, com a mensagem de acompanhamento:

Isso pode ser feito por meio de ferramentas como gParted. Em seguida, selecione esta partição através da opção [Separar / iniciar partição:] de [Reparo de inicialização]. ( link )
