Eu tenho um sistema dual boot e o novo Ubuntu LTS 18.04 está lançando no próximo mês, então eu quero atualizar meu sistema de 14.04 para 18.04. A melhor maneira de fazer a gradação é ir primeiro para 16.04 e depois para 18.04. Hoje eu atualizei meu sistema de 14.04 para 16.04 e tudo parece funcionar bem, mas no meio da instalação da atualização meu sistema congelou completamente e fui forçado a reiniciar o sistema.
Após o reinício, quando fui para o Ubuntu, ficou preso na própria inicialização

Euentãofizumapt-getupdatemaseleretornouumrelocationerrorqueresolviusar esta resposta (tive que instalar ambos os arquivos amd6 e i386) baixando os arquivos usando o segundo sistema operacional Windows. Em seguida, verifiquei minha conexão com a Internet usando ping -c 1 google.com , que retornou Unknown host error . Sem internet eu não posso resolver ou baixar nenhum arquivo no meu Ubuntu. Se eu tenho uma conexão com a web neste terminal só ubuntu 16.04 eu posso definitivamente resolver meus outros problemas. Alguma ideia de como resolver isso?
Após este desastre, estou suspendendo minha graduação para 18.04. Agora quero instalar corretamente 16.04
P.S. Eu não lembro o que eu fiz, mas eu tenho visto Networkmanger is not running erro no meu Ubuntu 16,04

Devido a algumas circunstâncias, eu não posso fazer uma nova instalação, o que me forçou a corrigir meus problemas de upgrade. Então eu consegui recuperar o meu desktop com o novo 16.04 e a internet de volta fazendo estes comandos
sudo dpkg --configure -a

Então eu reiniciei o sistema, isso trouxe de volta a minha conexão com a internet e no terminal modo de recuperação fez
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade #not working shows error
sudo apt-get install -f #not working shows error
sudo dpkg --configure -a
Reiniciei novamente agora que trouxe de volta a minha área de trabalho, mas quando agora meu apt-get não está funcionando (a internet está bem).

Parece que eu não tenho python kivy compatível, então eu tentei purgar pyton-kivy
sudo apt-get purge python-kivy
sudo apt-get remove python-kivy
mas novamente mostra Unmet dependencies erro. Meu apt-get não está funcionando em todos os cant instalar ou desinstalar apps.any idéia de como resolver isso
