Meu disco rígido está falhando?

Estou começando a me preocupar com o meu drive WD Green de 3 anos. Nos últimos dias, percebi que o meu media player está agindo de forma estranha, ele não irá para a próxima faixa depois que a música terminar e também não tocará novas músicas quando eu clicar duas vezes.

Então, eu baixei o pacote "smartmontools" e usei "sudo smartctl -a / dev / sdb2" para verificar a unidade. Aqui está um instantâneo da saída:

Estou mais preocupado com as linhas "Pre-fail". Isso significa que a unidade pode falhar a qualquer momento ou o quê?

Se você ler os cabeçalhos das colunas, verá que a pré-falha é o tipo de estatística coletada e não o status. A coluna When_Failed sendo vazia também deve lhe dar algumas dicas sobre se alguma coisa falhou (nada tem).

Each Attribute also has a Threshold value (whose range is 0 to 255) which is printed under the heading "THRESH". If the Normalized value is less than or equal to the Threshold value, then the Attribute is said to have failed. If the Attribute is a pre-failure Attribute, then disk failure is imminent.

Portanto, enquanto o valor normalizado for maior que o valor retangular , não há nada com que se preocupar.

Seus discos rígidos parecem bem. Nenhum setor realocado, nenhuma outra coluna com falha. Para ter certeza. tente fazer um fsck e um autoteste de disco rígido: smartctl -t long /dev/sdb - este levará algumas horas. Você poderá ler os resultados usando o mesmo comando usado acima.

Inteligente é por disco, não por volume, portanto, passe a unidade, não o volume (embora o smartctl pareça inteligente o bastante para encontrar seu disco).
