gcc path inválido ao instalar o VMWare Tools do VMWare Workstation 7.1.1 build-282343 no squeeze da Debian

Question

Estou tentando instalar ferramentas VMWare no Debian Squeeze.

Meu erro:

make
gcc
kernel headers of the running kernel

The path "/usr/bin/gcc" is not valid path to the gcc binary.

A execução deste comando resolveu o problema:

sudo aptitude install gcc-4.3 make linux-headers-'uname -r' -y
