Isso pode ser feito. Não consegui trabalhar bidirecional com o seguinte, mas Host to Guest (ou seja, colar conteúdo no console de texto) funciona. As instruções a seguir são para o CentOS 5/6/7, no entanto, um mecanismo similar deve funcionar para outros tipos.
Isso manterá a área de transferência do X11 em sincronia com a área de transferência do gpm. Quando a configuração da Área de transferência compartilhada estiver configurada para “Host to Guest”, o VirtualBox atualizará a área de transferência X11 quando a área de transferência do Host for alterada… o gpm corrigido usará o xclip para puxar os dados da área de transferência X11 para a área de transferência gpm…, que pode ser colada com o botão do meio do mouse.
Área de transferência compartilhada
É possível fazer com que o compartilhamento da área de transferência “Host to Guest” funcione no modo servidor / console. O compartilhamento "Guest to Host" não está funcionando no momento, provavelmente devido a um problema entre o VBoxClient e o Xvfb.
