Como root, edite os campos NAME= em /etc/udev/rules.d/70-persistent-net.rules , salve e reinicialize.
Eu tenho uma máquina VMware executando o Ubuntu 9.10 (Karmic) com três NICs ethernet virtuais. Por algum motivo, o kernel decidiu que essas NICs são: eth3 , eth4 e eth5 . Não há eth0 - eth2 . Como posso forçar o kernel a renumerar esses três dispositivos ethernet para serem eth0 , eth1 e eth2 ?
