Faltando parceiros canônicos e repositórios independentes no ubuntu 14.04

Encontrei um problema estranho hoje quando descobri que os parceiros da Canonical e os repositórios independentes desapareceram da guia "outros softwares" de "software e atualizações". Também notei que "main", "universe", "multiverse" e "restricted" estão todos desativados, bem como "trusy-security", "trusty-updates", "trusy-proposed" e "trusty-backports". / p>

A pergunta é: como posso adicionar repositórios canônicos e independentes de volta para que eu possa reativá-los? e o que poderia ter causado isso?

Abra um terminal (Ctrl + Alt + T) e execute:

sudo gedit /etc/apt/sources.list

Substitua todo o texto por isso:
