Após um período arbitrário, mas pequeno, meu computador volta a funcionar depois de dormir. Eu tentei desesperadamente resolver esse problema, antes de entrar em contato com qualquer suporte oficial ou reinstalar o Windows. Não me lembro do problema que ocorreu quando instalei o Windows pela primeira vez, mas não tenho certeza. A máquina é auto-construída executando o Windows 8 Pro.

Desativar Serviço de Compartilhamento de Rede do Windows Media Player em Serviços até agora não aliviou o problema, pois ainda acho meu computador acordado momentos depois de eu dormir.

Por tentativa e erro, finalmente descobri que desabilitar o adaptador de rede de ativar o computador em Gerenciador de dispositivos imediatamente resolveu o problema. Meu PC não acorda mais do sono inesperadamente!
