É possível controlar o LED CAPS LOCK no OS X?

Eu não uso a funcionalidade CAPS LOCK no OS X, então desativei a chave nas preferências do sistema. Agora essa chave é completamente inútil para mim - ok, eu poderia mapear a tecla CMD / CTRL / ALT para essa chave, mas eu já tenho chaves para isso…

Então, o que eu tenho em mente é usar o LED na tecla (eu uso o recente teclado sem fio da Apple) para anotar se eu tenho mensagens esperando ... algo assim. É possível controlar o LED diretamente? Controlá-lo através de um aplicativo de cacau objetivo-c está bem, eu vou escrever esse aplicativo por mim, mas até agora, eu posso encontrar qualquer coisa útil de documentação de cacau de maçãs.

É possível. Eu estou tentando encontrar um aplicativo que eu encontrei anos atrás, que poderia alternar os LEDs num lock e caps lock no meu antigo iBook (10.4). Descobri isso enquanto procurava hoje.

Encontrado.
