Certifique-se de que ~/.ssh esteja definido como 0700 e que ~/.ssh/authorized_keys esteja definido como 0600.
Eu configurei a autenticação de chave de pub entre dois servidores. Tudo deve funcionar, mas ainda me pedem a senha.
Aqui estão partes do meu arquivo de configuração sshd, que eu não alterei depois de configurar o sistema.

O arquivo de chaves autorizado existe e tudo. Eu tenho feito esse procedimento com chaves públicas em muitas máquinas e nunca tive esse problema. O que você sugeriria fazer?

Algo parece estar errado com o seu arquivo de chave. Verifique o formato e talvez gere um novo (mantenha o antigo, apenas no caso).

Use a opção de depuração no seu cliente ssh . Isso deve exibir muitas mensagens sobre o que está acontecendo durante a autenticação e deve ajudá-lo a identificar o problema.
