Eu recentemente tentei instalar o spim (mips compilador) na minha máquina e não funcionou. Agora eu estou tentando remover a coisa toda, mas eu simplesmente não posso fazer isso e a pior parte é que toda vez que tento instalar um novo pacote completamente diferente, recebo o mesmo erro. Estou realmente enlouquecendo por ter quebrado minha máquina (embora ainda funcione). Aqui está o que eu fiz inicialmente:
sudo apt-get install spim
sudo apt-get install qt-sdk
Depois baixei o arquivo .deb do link a seguir e copiei as pastas na minha pasta usr. Eu também executei o arquivo debian a partir do terminal usando o comando dpkg.
Eu tentei remover o qt-sdk usando o seguinte:
sudo apt-get remove qt-sdk
O erro abaixo foi dado quando tentei remover o qt-sdk, mas o sitll aparece toda vez que tento instalar qualquer outro pacote ou remover o próprio spim:

O pacote qtspim não foi instalado com sucesso.
Enquanto o pacote estiver listado como um pacote defeituoso, você não poderá fazer nada.
Portanto, remova-o via
sudo apt-get purge qtspim
Depois disso
sudo apt-get remove qt-sdk
E você deve começar um
sudo apt-get autoremove
porque você tem muitos pacotes desnecessários instalados. ;)
Tente instalar o driver sqlite com:
sudo apt-get install libqt5sql5-sqlite
Em seguida, execute novamente o comando:
sudo apt-get remove qt-sdk
Se não funcionar, provavelmente é devido à sua versão do Qt, como posso ver no 5.5 os registros de erro:
/home/sabir/.local/share/QtProject/Assistant/qthelpcollection_5.5.0.qhc
Tente renomear este arquivo:
mv /home/sabir/.local/share/QtProject/Assistant/qthelpcollection_5.5.0.qhc /home/sabir/.local/share/QtProject/Assistant/qthelpcollection_5.5.0.qhc.bak
E novamente execute novamente o comando apt-get remove.
