Eu recentemente migrei para o 16.04 LTS de 64 bits do 14.04 LTS de 32 bits no meu laptop Toshiba L645. Estou enfrentando um problema com o indicador de energia no painel da unidade. Quando eu mudo a fonte de energia para a bateria da CA, o indicator-power normalmente leva alguns minutos antes de atualizar o status. Eu sei que o sistema / hardware está funcionando bem, pois o udevadm monitor -u instantaneamente gera uma mudança:

Acho que o problema real é o upower package que indicator-power usa para atualizar suas informações. Quando eu faço upower --monitor-detail eu posso ver que não está atualizando quando o estado de energia é alterado. Minha versão atual é upower (0.99.4-2ubuntu0.2) .
Atualização: Esse problema não é persistente, ou seja, às vezes, o indicator-power funciona instantaneamente, às vezes não.
Veja a saída upower daemon quando desconectado em 11:58:20.495 (observe que native-path diz inicialmente BAT1 , mas muda rapidamente para ACAD at 11:58:20.499 , mesmo que o computador ainda esteja desconectado. O native-path é corrigido apenas em 12:00:21.292 , completo dois minutos depois):
