The packages themselves go to 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib'

A shim file for the command line goes to 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\bin'
  and points to an executable in 'C:\ProgramData\chocolatey\lib\yourPackageName'.

Digite where.exe choco para determinar onde o PowerShell acredita estar usando o Chocolatey.

Se houver algum outro arquivo que apareça além do local apropriado, como C:\Windows\System32\choco , inspecione esse arquivo para ver o que é e certifique-se de que não seja nada ruim. Em seguida, remova os arquivos impróprios.

Ainda não vimos muito disso (talvez esta seja a segunda instância até agora), por isso é difícil dizer o que pode ter causado isso, se algum pequeno problema durante a instalação ou algo que foi feito em seu ambiente antes ou depois da instalação. É algo que estamos mantendo um olho.
