Você pode alternar o modo 'única CPU' dentro de top
apertando a tecla 1
. De man top
:
Summary-Area-defaults
l - Load Avg/Uptime On (thus program name)
t - Task/Cpu states On (1+1 lines, see '1')
m - Mem/Swap usage On (2 lines worth)
1 - Single Cpu Off (thus multiple cpus)
Por exemplo, com uma única CPU 'on' (o padrão, aparentemente):
top - 22:42:17 up 1 day, 1:11, 1 user, load average: 0.04, 0.05, 0.20
