Não é possível instalar o Google Chrome. Como faço para corrigir isso?

Não consigo instalar o navegador Google Chrome. Eu me pergunto por que e como consertar isso. Aqui está o log que recebi do meu terminal ao instalar o Google Chrome.

Você provavelmente precisa ativar o repositório "universe".

Depois de ativá-lo, atualize seu sistema e agora você poderá instalar google-chrome-stable .

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install libgconf2-4 libnss3-1d libxss1

Você pode corrigir isso instalando dependências ausentes.
Basta executar o seguinte comando
(depois de ter corrido sudo dpkg -i google-chrome-stable_current_i386.deb ).

sudo apt-get install -f

Isso instalará dependências ausentes e configurará o Google Chrome para você.

Por que não instalar o Chromium dos repositórios do Ubuntu?

sudo apt-get install chromium-browser

sudo apt-get update ; sudo apt-get install libgconf2-4 libnss3-1d libxss1

Poste qualquer saída de erro aqui. Se não houver erros, sudo dpkg -i chrome.deb depois e você deve ser bom.

Recentemente, vi esse erro e consegui resolvê-lo usando o seguinte:

apt-get install libcurl3

Eu tive o mesmo problema e usei isso para corrigi-lo.

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt -f install

Depois, tente instalar o Google Chrome novamente.
