repair corrupted PDF

Question

Eu já analisei:

• Como posso corrigir / reparar um arquivo PDF corrompido? e
• Salvando um PDF possivelmente corrompido no Acrobat

Eu tentei o ghostscript no OS X e no Windows. OS X gs apresentou o seguinte erro:

Nem o Acrobat Reader nem o pro carregarão o arquivo. Eu também tentei o "Recovery Toolbox for PDF" no lado do Windows, sem amor.

Alguma ideia? Estou mexendo na minha linha de comando do ghostscript? Aqui estão os dois comandos que eu tentei:

gs -o repaired.pdf -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress corrupt.pdf

e

gs -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -dBATCH -dNOPAUSE -sOutputFile=repaired.pdf corrupt.pdf

Alguns arquivos PDF estão além do reparo. A Adobe investiu muitos recursos para garantir que o Adobe Reader e o Acrobat possam exibir arquivos PDF malformados, portanto, se o Acrobat não puder carregar o PDF, provavelmente será irrecuperável.

Se você receber a mensagem de erro:

Reader could not open filename because it is either not a supported file type of because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).

Em seguida, o PDF foi desconfigurado e o% PDF-header (por exemplo, algo como% PDF-1.6 no topo do arquivo quando visualizado em um editor de texto) não pode ser encontrado nos primeiros 1024 bytes do arquivo.
