FreeBSD parece não ver meu dlink wlan em tudo

Question

Eu tenho um PC com um dispositivo PCI sem fio Dlink no slot PCI. Os LEDs estão piscando, mas quando eu inicio o FreeBSD eu não consigo ver o dispositivo no dmesg.

Por quê? é um problema de BIOS?

É um hardware bastante antigo. Eu não sei de onde começar a cavar um problema, pelo menos.
