O Ubuntu Software Center falha com erro de catálogo de pacotes

Question

Estou executando o Ubuntu 10.10 e estava tentando reinstalar o indicador meteorológico quando recebi essa mensagem de erro no centro de software do Ubuntu. É mostrado na imagem abaixo,

Eu clico em reparar, mas a mensagem continua aparecendo. Fechei o centro de software do Ubuntu, tentei novamente e recebi a mesma mensagem de erro.

Aqui está a mensagem de erro se não estiver claro na captura de tela anterior,

EDIT 1: Ao executar sudo apt-get install aptitude , disse que eu já tinha o aptitude instalado. Então eu corri sudo apt-get reinstall indicator-weather . A saída foi,

Eu continuei com um sim, mas o problema ainda persiste.

EDIT 2: Tentei executar sudo apt-get install indicator-weather , mas recebo a seguinte mensagem de erro.

Você quebrou pacotes no seu sistema. Abra um terminal e digite

sudo apt-get install -f

e isso deve resolver isso.
