Como verificar a versão do escritório remotamente?

Se você tem um cenário em que você é um administrador e precisa verificar a versão do seu escritório, como gerenciar isso sem ir a cada PC, incomodando o usuário e verificando-o localmente?

Existe uma maneira de fazer isso remotamente?

Eu criei um vbscript baseado em uma versão anterior desatualizada do DSCunningham para gerenciar esse trabalho.
