Eu posso putty na caixa bem, mas quando eu tento ssh -p 25595 user @ WhereImTryingToConnect de outra caixa, não funciona. ambas as caixas são ubuntu 14.04
EDIT 1: alterei PasswordAuthentication de não para yes e reiniciei o serviço ssh. mas quando eu tento sftp -v -v -v -p [email protected] 25595. ainda estou recebendo o erro

Eu tentei dois usuários diferentes e posso verificar se ambas as senhas foram colocadas corretamente
EDIT 2: Eu tenho obtido ssh da caixa b (computador tentando se conectar) e caixa a (computador im conectando) primeiro eu criei uma chave na caixa b. então tentei copiar a chave para a caixa a, recebi um erro dizendo

então meu primeiro pensamento foi que as permissões corretas na caixa a estão confusas. (embora ive configurá-los para 700 e 600, respectivamente) Então eu fui e setar ~ / .ssh para 777 (ISTO É RUIM NÃO FAZ) e eu também configurei ~ / .ssh / para 777 (TAMBÉM BAD). Com isso eu era capaz de copiar minha chave ssh da caixa b para a caixa a. Agora eu também sou capaz de remotamente na caixa A de B. mas eu ainda não consigo SFTP na caixa a de b ...
